The yellow cedar and Douglas fir logs were all hand-crafted in Canada for a perfect fit. The cabin features almost 1700 sq feet of living space, large windows, open floorplan, and a ridgetop location that boders hiking trails of the US Forest Service. This cabin also enjoys one of our top views.

Housekeeping / Hot Tub / Amenities Fee added to all reservations for this unit: $125

internet option

We offer a portable WIFI Hotspot to guests of this cabin for a small setup fee. Availability of our Hotspot devices is limited and on a first-come basis. Service is limited by cell signal quality and there are usage restrictions, but this device should allow internet access sufficient for casual internet enjoyment. This device must be requested in advance and availability of a device is not guaranteed. See FAQ for further details.

Your kitchen is appointed with granite countertops, all new, stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. The gas range and stainless vent hood make this one of what we call our “chef’s kitchens” because you will certainly agree this is so much more than just a rental-calibre kitchen. We are committed to making your stay as close to like being at home as we can, so in addition to just the basic dishes, utensils and cooking tools you’ll need, we have provided some extras that will surprise you… right down to kabob skewers, and of course agas grill is provided for BBQ connoisseurs (full propane tank included).

great room

The great room features large living and dining area with table suitable for seating 6. There’s also a counter that will seat 3, if needed. The modern-rustic decor features leather sofa and loveseat, hardwood floors, log-accented interiors, and a towering stone fireplace that passes through into the rec room. There is a high-definition satellite dish and electronics system complete with CD/DVD player (bring your own music or listen to one of the dozens of digital music channels provided by digital satellite). Programming includes HBO and other premium movie channels, as well as an upgraded sports package. The pool table in the adjacent rec room is surrounded by huge windows allowing you to enjoy the great outdoors and opens directly to the front or back patios. Just behind the cabin is a boardwalk deck leading you up into the trees where the firepit and hot tub are perched slightly elevated to allow enjoyment of the long range view beyond the cabin.

sleeping accommodations

All our cabins feature both down and foam pillows as well as down comforters. Each bed has a pillow-top mattress and 600 thread count, Egyptian-cotton linens. Ralph Lauren bath towels are provided for the base number of occupancy with additional towels for hot tub use.

main floor

The rec room has a tastefully appointed set of bunk beds integrated into the design. Each bunk has a twin bed with luxury linens.

second floor

2 king bedrooms each suitable as a master. Each bedroom has a small balcony porch and window viewing the front mountain view. Each bedroom also has an incredible suite bathroom that features a shower stall and also a garden tub with huge picture window looking towards the rear of the cabin, which is hundreds of acres of forest. Winter visitors will even enjoy the heated tile flooring in the bathrooms.

Google Maps Correction
Please note that the Google Map provide to us is not entirely accurate. The USFS road called “Horse Branch” is a non-vehicular road so is excellent for hiking and biking, but does not allow motorized vehicles. The map shows it connecting to and terminating at Birch Rd, which is incorrect. Horse Branch Trail actually will lead you all the way down to highway 28N and terminates about 100 yards north of the entrance to Tsali
